About the Author
Günter Hager is an award-winning chef from Austria's Salzkammergut region. In the 1980s, he organized International Austrian Gourmet Weeks in Asia. His journey to Tibet in 1998 marked the beginning of a deep and lasting relationship with the Tibetan people, influencing his culinary and personal life profoundly. Hager currently runs a traditional inn in Linz, Austria, while continuing to visit and support the Tibetan community in northern India
