About the Author

Pierce Brown is an American author best known for the Red Rising series. Born in 1988, he grew up in seven different states across the U.S. before studying political science and economics at Pepperdine University. Before becoming a full-time writer, Brown worked in various fields, including politics, social media management, and scriptwriting in Hollywood. His background in storytelling and world-building helped him craft Red Rising, which became an instant bestseller.
