About the Author

Firat Sunel is a Turkish author and diplomat, currently serving as the Turkish ambassador to India, Nepal, and Bhutan. Izmirli, My Last Love is his second novel, originally published in Turkish a decade ago and translated into English by Feyza Howell in 2022. The novel has recently become available in India following the success of his third novel, The Lighthouse Family (2020, translated 2024).
