About the Author

Siddhartha Mukherjee is an Indian-American physician, oncologist, and author. He is best known for his 2010 book, The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer, which won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction. Mukherjee is a Rhodes Scholar and has served as an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University and as a staff physician at Columbia University Medical Center. His work often explores the history and future of medicine, blending scientific rigor with compelling storytelling.
