Description

When Connecticut mechanic Hank Morgan is knocked unconscious, he awakens in sixth-century Camelot, far from his familiar nineteenth-century America. Initially imprisoned, he soon realizes his future knowledge can change his destiny. By predicting a solar eclipse, Morgan impresses the English, securing his release and becoming the most powerful magician, surpassing even Merlin and earning Arthur’s admiration. However, Morgan’s ambitions extend beyond the Round Table as he embarks on a mission to introduce American democratic ideals to medieval England. “A Connecticut Yankee” is a darkly humorous exploration of human nature and society.
