Naked is a collection of memoirs by David Sedaris. The pieces look at the funny, ridiculous side of today's world and draw a sharp, recognisable picture of it. In 'A Plague of Tics', Sedaris is humbled by his own obsessive habits. In the title story, he is at last made to confront himself without clothes, surrounded by lunatics, and he stops to ask what it all means. Throughout, the book traces his lifelong hunt for who he really is, told with very little flattery.
