About the Author

Jamgon Mipham (1846-1912) was a renowned Tibetan Buddhist master and scholar of the Nyingma tradition, known for his extensive writings on philosophy, meditation, and ritual. His commentary on the Madhyantavibhaga is highly regarded in the nonsectarian Rime movement. Maitreya, the future Buddha, is traditionally considered the author of the root text, which he is said to have imparted to Asanga.


Khenpo Shenga (1871-1927) was a prominent Tibetan scholar and meditation master, celebrated for his commentaries on the Five Treatises of Maitreya. His work has been instrumental in the study and practice of these profound teachings.
