That is the question this page exists to answer. Tell us how you read, not what you have read, and our matchmaker searches the biblionepal shelves for books that fit. It takes about a minute, and everything it finds is ready to deliver anywhere in the world.
How does the book quiz work?
A few quick questions: which shelf pulls you, what you want the book to do to you, how much book you are in the mood for, whether you want crowd favourites or hidden gems, and one book you have loved. You get a shortlist back, and each book comes with a line saying why it suits the way you answered.
Can it read my bookshelf from a photo?
Yes. Choose Scan My Shelf, photograph your bookshelf, and we read the books straight off the picture: what you own, which shelves you lean toward, the authors you keep coming back to. From there we recommend books that belong beside yours, or build you a whole library to a budget, and nothing we suggest is a book already sitting in your photo. The photo itself is read once and never stored.
Do I need an account to use it?
You sign in at the end, not at the start. Answer the questions first and see where they take you. Signing in also means we can leave out anything you have already bought from us, so nothing comes back that is already on your shelf.
How do you choose which books to recommend?
From our own shelves, not from a generic internet list. Your answers point the matchmaker at the right corner of the shop, and it picks the books we would put in your hands if you were standing at that shelf with us.
Can it build a whole library on a budget?
Yes. The library builder is the second half of this page. Set a budget and a number of books and it assembles a complete shelf that fits, whether that is a first library for a young reader, a gift, a family shelf, or a deep dive into one subject.
Are the recommended books original, not pirated?
Every book on this site is an original edition sourced through authorised distributors. Nepal has a serious counterfeit book problem, and we take a public position on it: read why we stand against book piracy and how to spot a pirated copy yourself.
Do you deliver across Nepal?
