Krapp's Last Tape and Other Shorter Plays

This volume collects Krapp's Last Tape with Samuel Beckett's other shorter stage works, called dramaticules. The plays are ordered by when they were composed. They show Beckett's spare methods and compassionate aims. In Krapp's Last Tape, Krapp ends a reel and speaks of boxes, spools, his best years, a chance of happiness, and the fire in him now. He would not want those years back. He stares motionless before him. The book belongs to English drama and one-act plays.
