Fourth Wing

Violet Sorrengail expected a quiet life surrounded by books. Instead, she is forced into Basgiath War College, a deadly training ground. There she must fight to join the army's elite dragon riders. Dragons do not choose riders they think are fragile; they burn them. Many cadets would kill Violet to improve their chances, and others would kill her because of her family name. Xaden Riorson, her family's greatest foe, is among them. Friends, enemies, and lovers all have their own agendas. Violet must use her wits to survive, because there are only two ways out: graduating or dying.
